Happy November!
Time really flies! I still can't believe it's November. As is typical in Atlanta, some days are cold and some days are in the high 70's. It's anybody's guess what the weather will be like from day to day.
We are both doing well - Ethan had his second accounting midterm and scored an A on it! He worked hard for that A, and as his biggest cheerleader, I am very proud of him! We went to Rosemary Beach, Florida with my employers over my birthday weekend and had such a great time. My employers went out of their way to make my birthday special and presented me with a beautiful gemstone necklace and suprised me later with an ice cream cake complete with everyone singing "Happy Birthday". Rosemary Beach was breathtaking, and we had a wonderful time. We were able to go out to eat for crab legs (yum!) and shrimp for my birthday. I'm definitely looking forward to returning to the beach in April for the boys' spring break! The next trip that is coming up for work for me is to Beaver Creek, CO from December 15-26th. Ethan has decided not to go, and will stay in Atlanta and work while I enjoy a White Christmas and hit the slopes! My employers are Jewish, so Christmas will not be celebrated while we are gone. I don't mind at all, and Ethan and I will have our own belated Christmas Day when I return on the 26th. For those of you who know how much I love to ski, you have some idea of how excited I am to be able to spend almost two weeks out West!
My parents are coming to visit for Thanksgiving, and Ethan's parents are visiting the following weekend. It will be the first time they see the loft. So... sorry to disappoint faithful readers of this blog, but there will not be any photos posted of our abode until after their visit. We'd like for them to be suprised when they see it and not have any idea what it looks like. Since they read this, that's just what will have to be done! We are greatly looking forward to seeing our parents and being able to relax and spend time together in our home. We're keeping our fingers crossed that our furniture will be here by then!
Hope everyone is well!
